April brings new music and a special new drink!

April 6: Andy McManus: Hailing from County Armagh Andrew has played music throughout his entire life. He was a member of the South Ulster Youth Orchestra and has performed as a solo acoustic singer-songwriter in pubs and coffee shops around Ireland and England. Andrew now lives in Cleveland where he is gaining a following in the Irish community playing his music around local venues. Register here.
April 13: Micah Foster: Micah began playing music and writing songs at age 14, and spent the majority of his teenage years playing bass in a psychedelic band based out of Columbus. Micah moved to Cleveland in 2017 after he got out of college, and has been performing as a solo acoustic musician ever since. Micah describes his music as progressive folk, and aims for it be a cross between Iron and Wine, and Primus. Register here.
April 20: Michael Crawley & Tessa Thistlethwaite: Join Michael Crawley and Tessa Thistlethwaite from Mary's Lane for a morning of Irish music and sing-alongs. Register here.
April 27: Andy McManus: As above. Register here.
To celebrate the start of baseball season we have introduced a special new Summer drink: The Slugger. It’s house-made lemonade with a shot of espresso. It’s a perfect pick up if you are feeling a little sluggish :)
Our good friend, Doug Kusak, from the Metroparks will be back on Thursday, April 11th at 7pm to give a special talk on the Great Lakes Exposition 1936-1937. The biggest party Cleveland’s ever seen was held on a lakefront garbage dump! In the midst of the Great Depression, Cleveland decided to hold itself a massive 100th birthday party, and everyone was invited to celebrate our industrial might.
