5 Points’ 7th Birthday Spectacular!
Well, folks, you may have heard that this August marks our 7th birthday! It’s been seven years since we opened our door to the public, and the reception from those who live in the neighborhood to those who stop by on their way to the airport to those who travel near and far to grab a cup of coffee and chat has been absolutely unparalleled.
Our story began with a husband and wife, sisters and a brother and sister-in-law teaming up to work on a long-time collective dream – a coffee shop that offers great products but equally importantly a place that serves as a neighborhood anchor, bringing people together. Seven years later, we’ve not only seen this dream come to life but flourish into something none of us could have imagined.
To celebrate seven years of service, we’re throwing ourselves a birthday bash the only way we know how— with coffee, cake, and lots of craic, of course.
Join us on Saturday, August 24 for all the festivities! We will, of course, have live music from our good pals Andy McManus, Tessa Thistlethwaite, and Mark Whalen Jr. of the Andrew McManus Trio! Stop in around 11 and join us as Andy and friends sing us a festive rendition of Happy Birthday (and maybe even a special performance of Andy’s 5 Points song? You heard that right…)
Once again, we want to thank you for all of the laughs, hugs, stories, gifts, postcards, invitations, baby pictures— you name it— that you’ve shared with us these past seven years. Here’s to many many more! Slainte!
