Job Title: Part-Time Barista
Location: 5 Points Coffee & Tea, 3600 W. Park Rd, Cleveland, OH 44111
Pay: $15/hr (starting rate, based on experience)
Hours: Approximately 20-25 hours per week
Schedule:5-7 hour shifts
Early morning shifts; weekend availability required
Shop hours:
Tuesday-Friday: 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Saturday-Sunday: 7:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Closed on Mondays
Job Description:
We’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic part-time barista to join our team at 5 Points Coffee & Tea! If you love coffee, have a passion for customer service, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect role for you.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Greet customers with a smile, understand their preferences, and create an engaging, fun experience.
Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks, including coffee, espresso, tea, and chai, with attention to detail and quality.
Order Management: Take and customize orders, ensuring accuracy in ratios and specifications.
Cash Handling: Operate the cash register, process sales, and follow all cash handling policies.
Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized workspace, including equipment, utensils, dishes, and service areas.
Food Service: Serve a selection of baked goods and prepared foods, such as scones, muffins, and pies.
Inventory & Stocking: Help stock supplies and retail products, and assist with inventory, ordering, or receiving deliveries.
Health & Safety: Follow health and safety regulations, ensuring equipment is functioning properly and maintaining a safe work environment.
Communication: Relay customer feedback to managers and suggest new menu items or ideas to enhance the customer experience.
Requirements:
Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in customer service required.
Barista Experience: 1-2 years of barista experience is preferred but not required.
Minimum Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
